Millions of people all around the world adore travelling. There are different means of transportation. People travel by train, by plane, by ship or boat and by car. All of these means of travel have their advantages and disadvantages.
The fastest (найшвидший) way of travelling – is travelling by plane, but it can be too expensive (дорогий) for many people.
A lot of people prefer travelling by car, because you can see many sights in a short time, you can stop(зупинитись) when and where you like, you don’t have to buy tickets (квитки) or carry your suitcases (валізи).
Travelling by ship is also very popular. It is very pleasant to see the rise and fall of the waves (хвилі), to feel the fresh sea wind blowing in the face and hear the cry of the seagulls (чайки).
An interesting way of travelling – is travelling on foot (пішки). But you should be strong enough for this kind of travelling.
As for me, I prefer travelling by train. With a train you have speed (швидкість), comfort and pleasure combined. From the comfortable seat of a railway carriage (залізничний вагон) you have a splendid view of the whole countryside.
